Maren Sorensdatter

It is probable that Maren Sorensdatter is the daughter of Soren Jensen Degn. Degn is the Danish word for a clerk. His daughter Maren was christened on April 21, 1689, and the vicar’s wife named Margrethe Beisdatter carried her at her christening.
Maren Sorensdatter married Rasmus Jensen Diege in the church of As on June 18,1713. She died in 1757 and was buried in the churchyard of As on June 18, 1757.  She was 68 years old.
