Knud Vidriksen

Knud Vidriksen was born around the year 1645. We know that he did not live in Hedensted,  where his brother, Hans Vidriksen, had his residence.  Knud and Hans had another brother, Niels Vidriksen, who lived in Stobberup, in the parish of Losning.  The Losning parish register dates back to1701 so we do not know if the Vidriksen’s brothers were born in Stobberup.
Knud Vidriksen was the copyholder of a farm on the manor of Bygholm. He first married Birgitte Stephensdatter on June 4, 1685 in the church of Hedensted. She was born in 1661 in Thorup, in Hedensted.  She died in 1693 and on December 16, of the same year she was buried in the churchyard of Hedensted. They had one son, named Vidrik Knudsen, and he was born in 1691.

About 1694 Knud Vidriksen married Else Pedersdatter. They too had one child, named Michel Knudsen. He was born in 1695.
Knud Vidriksen died in 1721 in Hedensted.  He was buried on April 2 of the same year. After his death, his farm was divided between his two sons so that they both had an area of hartkorn 4 tdr 3 skp and 1½ alb.
