Johanne Jespersdatter

Johanne Jespersdatter was born about 1709, probably in Stourup in the parish of Skjold. She was buried in the churchyard of Raarup on the fourth Sunday after Easter, 1772 (May 17). She was known as “The wife of old Rasmus Krage”.

On April 1, 1736 she was married to Rasmus Thomsen Krage from Uth (1703-1778) in the church of Skjold.
They settled in Lindved in the parish of Raarup, and their children were:

1. Rasmus Rasmussen Krage (born about 1736, buried 5/20/1772 in Raarup). He was married 4/4/1759 in Raarup to Dorthe Jorgensdatter (born about 1730, buried 5/9/1772).
2. Dorthe Rasmusdatter Krage (born about 1742, buried 9/14/1835). On 10/19/1776 she married Jorgen Hansen Pors (born about 1734, died April 1781) from Lindved in the parish of Raarup. After his death she married Niels Andersen on 7/5/1781.
3. Jesper Rasmussen Krage (born about 1745, died 1813). He was a farmer in the neighbouring parish Bjerre.  He married Birthe Rasmusdatter (born about 1727, died about 1810). They had no children.
4.Soren Rasmussen Krage (born about 1753). He lived in Breth in the parish of Barrit.
5. Niels Rasmussen Krage (born about 1759, died before 1798).
