Hans Madsen Pors

Hans Madsen Pors was christened on July 2, 1708 in the church of Bjerre. His parents were Mads Jorgensen Pors and Mette Povlsdatter.
In 1733 he was given copyhold to a house in Lindved in the neighbouring parish of Raarup. The house belonged to the manor of Palsgaard. In 1757 the copyhold was given to his son Jorgen Hansen Pors, who provided accomodation and support to his old parents for several years. Hans Madsen Pors died in 1774.  He was buried in the churchyard of Raarup on October 9, 1774. It was Sunday 19^th after Trinity.
His widow died in 1780 in an age of 73, and she was buried in the churchyard of Raarup on January 30. We do not know her name. A daughter in Lindved is mentioned in 1759.
