Berett Michelsdatter

Berett Michelsdatter was the daughter of Michel from Brandstub and Thulisgaard (=Thule’s farm). Before the year 1582 she inherited a part of Brandstub and Thulisgaard and later she bought the part owned by her sister Apelone. Those two parts were sold by her heirs in 1597 to her sister-in-law Ingierd Andersdatter. From this sale document dated January 8, 1597 we know the names of the children of Seffren from Nottrupgaard and Berett Michelsdatter: Jens Sefrensen in Kleis, Michel Sefrensen in Nottrup, Morten Seffrensen in Nottrup[gaard], Maren Seffrensdatter, Karen Sefrensdatter, Apelone Sefrensdatter and Ane Sefrensdatter.
